Role Overview:

As Imera's founding engineer, you will be the driving force behind rapidly building and shipping our core app. We're looking for someone who lives and breathes code, can move fast, and will take ownership of developing our platform from the ground up. You'll work closely with our CEO and key stakeholders to design, build, and scale a user-friendly platform that supports immigrants navigating life in the U.S.

We want someone who not only has a track record of shipping quality code quickly but also has the ambition and leadership potential to grow into a Head of Engineering role as we scale.

Responsibilities:

• Work in a fast-paced environment to quickly build and validate product hypotheses, taking end-to-end ownership of the Imera app.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
• Integrate third-party APIs and partner services seamlessly into the platform.
• Establish a strong foundation for the app’s technical architecture to support growth and future features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance regularly.
• Constantly improve our technical capabilities by researching and implementing best practices in the context of the quickly evolving technologies.
